LOG 08/09/2007

Cardiff

Engine running this morning (0915) is B744 G-CIVW of British Airways

Noted at the airport at 1100hrs was the clubs latest resident Robin HR.200 G-GMKD ..on the new stands was Citation 560 G-OBCC ....arrived with c/s "Trafalgar 031" this one now departing as "Trafalgar 032" (1145)

Just landing (1140) is Cennsa 560 CS-DXC of NetJets Europe c/s "NJE6DY"...this one now about to depart (1230) c/s "NJE859T"

Cessna 177 G-BUJE just seen Westbound along the coast (1400)

Paid a quick visit this afternoon - Cessna 172 G-BXXK came and went (times not noted) and the BY was G-BYAK . Also present was Cessna 525 D-IRKE . On the terminal side was a PA28 which was G-AVB(S) - the last letter not confirmed but looked like the bottom of an S.

Roger CK reports a RN Merlin here this morning (1015)...it has just departed (1125) c/s "Navy 814" and should be back in at 1600hrs

From Mike F...cheers ...Down at a landing site near Saints was Merlin "Navy 814" ZH838 which operated south in channel to nearby saints at 1200hrs

Ive just been told that this Merlin has been operating in/out of HMS Cambria near Barry to a ship thats moored near Steepholme Island in the Bristol Channel.
