LOG 04/12/2007

Cardiff

On echo at 1330hrs was PA-34 D-GEJJ ...this arrived last night...now departing back to Germany (1615)

PA-34 Seneca D-GEJJ on echo (IanG)

Hercules C.1 XV290/290 c/s "RRR651" has performed two overshoots (1345)

Interesting visitor just in (1515)...EC135 G-HWAA c/s "Helimed 06A" from Strensham Services, Worcester...parking on echo ..this one now going back to Strensham (1542)

Another interesting inbound (1545)..this time its BAE146-300 EC-JVJ of Orionair c/s "FLT221"...BEAST !...this one now departed to Madrid c/s "FLT221P" (1650)

Jetstream 31 G-PLAJ of Jetstream Executive Transport arrived around 1700hrs c/s "HWY91P"

G-EIGG has just departed (1928) "HWY31P"...so PLAJ is on the Ynys Mon run tomorrow !!

BAMC Happenings

Boeing 744 G-CIVO was noted in the Southern NIF while G-BNLP was noted inside the hangar (1330)

Inbound now (2140) is Boeing 777 G-VIIJ c/s "BAW9180"

St Athan

Noted landing at approx midday was Puma HC.1 c/s "Vortex 346"....now departing (1235)..I believe the Puma is XW219/- ...its now inboud again from the West (1425)

Seen at the top of the disused runway at 1320hrs was VC-10 K.4 ZD241/N about to start engine runs.

I also noticed an airframe in the old Harrier tump with what appeared to be Harrier wings on the floor nearby, anyone shed any light on these please.

Noted road running on the M4 near Newport this morning by Mike F this morning was Typhoon F.2 ZH588/- (DA2)...it was enroute St Athan from Brize Norton....thanks Mike
